growth spurt?

he's been feeding every hour for the past few days... it's kind of insane. at first i don't trust he's really hungry: he starts with his "i'm hungry" noises and if i wait to see then he roots and if i still wait he starts chewing frantically on his hand and so i finally surrender. then he goes to town for 15-20 minutes so i guess he really is hungry! i think it is calming down as feeding times have stretched back out to 3 hours. thus the time to create the site today!

bath time

sayan loves his abyanga and bath time. even if he is fussy when he starts he immediately settles in and is cooing and smiley by the end...

5 weeks old

well it's the 31st, sayan is 5 weeks old today.

i was looking at the album jaison created and i'm looking at sayan lying next to me now and it's amazing how much he's grown even since the last photos were taken!

he's starting to have so much more awake time. today we had a good amount of tummy time. he scooted across the blanket several times and was starting to be aware of the little toy i had near him. he was tracking it with his eyes-- just for a few seconds but definitely knew it was there. so cute!
